German Brown Trout — Northwoods Study No. 2 (Digital Download)
A painterly fine-art portrait of a wild German brown trout (Salmo trutta) suspended in a shaft of sunlight over a sun-dappled weed bed. Buttery gold flanks, oxblood spots ringed in pale blue haloes, and amber fins — the way a good one looks in the split second before it turns and vanishes back into the current.
Second in the Bad-Arm Media Northwoods Study series, painted as a companion piece to Brook Trout — Northwoods Study No. 1. Hang them together for a matched cabin, lodge, or fly-tying-room set.
